Go to xls > Select File > Select CellBIM (it should be activated) > Select Update License > Select Deactivate and then add the new license key 

**You should be connected to the Internet 

Go to the File > Options > Add-ins > scroll in the main table and you will find it under the "Disabled Application Add-ins"  

Go to the "Manage" > Click on the Disabled Items > Go 

Find the CellBIM > Select it and the click on Enable button 

Ensure the Add-In is Installed Properly: 

 If the add-in is not listed in the available add-ins, it might not have been installed correctly. Reinstalling the add-in might resolve the issue.  

Check Ribbon Customization: 

Go to File > Options and select Customize Ribbon. 

Under the Main Tabs section, ensure that the CellBIM tab is checked. If it is unchecked, check it and click OK 

Check Excel Trust Center Settings:  

Go to File > Options and select Trust Center. 

Click on Trust Center Settings, and then choose Add-ins. 

Make sure that the settings allow the loading of add-ins and that there are no restrictions that might prevent CellBIM from appearing in the ribbon. 

Restart Excel: 

After checking the above settings, restart Excel to ensure any changes are applied and that the add-in tab appears in the ribbon. 

Our IT dept installed CellBIM on my computer and we found that the 'ExcelBIM' menu only appears in Excel If we run it as administrator.
Since I personally do not have the access to run any software as admin I cannot use CellBIM.

Is there a solution to that?

Note: A 64bit version of Office must be installed to allow opening Revit, Sketchup, Bentley and some files larger than 40MB in size. Additionally 32bit Office will decrease performance significantly and it is not recommended. If you are using Office 32bit you are strongly advised to uninstall your current version of Office and install the 64bit version that can be downloaded from your office.com account.

Minimum CPU: Intel® Core™ i5 (6th) generation, Recommended CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 or i9 (6th-11th) generation or AMD equivalent.

Hard Disk Space: At least 4GB of free SSD disk space required.

Recommended GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 or greater.

Note 1: GPUs that do not support OpenGL 4.5 and Intel HD Graphics GPUs will fallback to a lower performance 3D Renderer.

Note 2: Always install latest graphics drivers from the Vendors website (Intel, NVIDIA, AMD) and not from Microsoft Updates to get latest bug-fixes and performance improvements.

After downloading the setup file, please right click on it and choose 'Run as administrator' to being the installation.

In case you are prompted with the following window, please click on 'More info' and after that on 'Run anyway':

1. On the window below, after making sure Microsoft Excel is not running, click on 'Install':

2. Please wait for the setup to prepare the installation process.

3.Click on 'Next'.

4. Please click on 'I accept the terms in the License Agreement' after reading the document.

5. On the following step, after choosing the installation directory, please click on 'Next'.

6. Here you may choose the directory CellBIM will be installed. When you have made your choice, click on 'Next'.

7. Please wait for the CellBIM installation to finish.

8. Please click on Finish to Exit the installation process. Having the checkbox option selected will start Excel after clicking on 'Finish'.

9.CellBIM has been installed successfully. Please click on 'Close' to close the installer.
